Roberto Yus to join AOK Library publishing panel

Roberto Yus will take part in Research and Publication: STEM Faculty Panel Perspective, hosted by UMBC’s Albin O. Kuhn Library & Gallery on Tuesday, October 27, from 12:00 to 1:00 pm, online via WebEx.

The session is aimed at graduate students and sets out to demystify the publishing process: how to start writing a paper, what impact factors mean, how to judge whether work is ready to be submitted, how to process reviewer criticism, and how to find the time to write in the first place.

He joins panelists from across UMBC: Jorge Almodovar (Chemical, Biochemical and Environmental Engineering), Anushka Aqil (Sociology, Anthropology, and Public Health), Edward Dillon (Information Systems), and Muruhan Rathinam (Mathematics and Statistics).
